Carnival 2008 August 17-23

The biggest party of the Summer comes to Ptwon this August 17-23.  Carnival 2008 is a huge bash that tranforms Commercial Street into an outragious and spectacular show.  The theme for this years Carnival is Wild, Wild West.  During the Carnival parade there will be floats, costumes, beads galore, thousands of people and more.  During the Carnival there are parties all over Ptown.  There are boat parties, beach parties, club parties and so much more.  When you come to town to go to Carnival you can buy tickets for the shows at the Ptown Firehouse.  The VIP pass is $85 and inlcudes everything.

4th Annual Provincetown Jazz Festival

Provincetown will be celebrating its 4th annual Jazz festival August 15-17th.  The Jazz Festival is held at the Ptown High School each day.  There are several bands and musicians each day that will be performing.  The price to view the concert each day is $25 per person and a portion of the proceeds benefit worthy causes in Provincetown.  Come on down and listen to some great music and enjoy all that the great town of Ptown has to offer.

Provincetown’s Family Week July 26 - Aug 2

This is a great week to get out with your LGBT family and celebrate.  There are many activities for everyone in the whole family.   This will be the 13th year for this great celebration that has been running strong.  Some activities: The Family Equality Council will be offering a full roster of activities, with everything from superhero cape-making to finger painting, for children between the ages of 3 and 8.
